I have built a new bike and it is running fine. Only issue is I noticed yesterday I have 4 busted spokes on rear tire on this Walmart Bayside conversion. I am using 2.125 tires front and rear. Unless someone has a better option I am planning on buy a matching set of these for front and rear.
FRONT: https://www.amazon.com/Sta-Tru-Stee...Sta-Tru+Steel+Hub+Front+Wheel+(26X2.125-Inch)
REAR: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWXRN78?ref_=pe_623860_70668520
Main issue is on my bike I have a 7 speed Shimano cassette. I have found videos showing how to replace one where it came off original wheel but not how to add this on a new rear wheel. Can anyone direct me to a good youtube video on how to put 7 speed cassette on new wheel? I am also using rim/v brakes so no coaster brake rear wheels. Would like them in black or red but o far have only found these in chrome. I have been looking at mags but think I will have hard enough time with spoke wheels on this one. Thank you.

if you can get over only having one gear contact labrat he has the best wheels you can get. They are moped hubs with 10g spokes on 26" rims.

Individual spokes can be replaced by your local bike shop at about $1 a spoke, plus labor. If you remove and clean the wheel, and remove the tire and tube before you take it in then it'll usually cost about half of the cost if you drop the whole bike with them.

Spokes tend to break due to tensioning issues. If the wheel is tight, and the spokes are at the correct tension then they will not usually break. If you ask the bike shop to check and equalize the tension in the wheel then you may get away without any other spokes breaking.

Just make sure (even if you go with new wheels) to periodically check for loose spokes. If you find a loose one then you can tighten it with a spoke wrench. Pluck the spokes around the loose spoke with your finger, and tighten the loose spoke up until it makes the same musical note as the tight spokes.

Thanks for all the help. I did some research and found the HY22 rims on gasbike online. I am being told it only fits 2.25 and above. That is larger than a cruiser 2.125 but the reviews are saying that this is being used with smaller than a 2.25. Can anyone point me in a direction of a mag type 26 inch rim that I could make into a single speed? I can even go down to a 1.75 26 inch tire if necessary. Just need to know how to attach 415 sprocket for motor drive and if the drop outs on a Walmart 26 inch cruiser would accept this.

Stay clear of the mags bud, not worth it. Get ahold of Lynn at www.mbrebel.com she'll hook you up with some of the strongest wheels out there for really nice prices. You need a 7 speed shimano? She's got it with 11g spokes on heavy duty double wall rims to boot.

Thanks, I have been reading online that if one fin goes on a mag wheel you will have a very bad day. Going to go with steel spoke wheels. Thank for the help.
