Use the 12 tooth one tooth will not change the ratio a lot. Low hp engines needs a lot of torque for racing torque is the way to go for faster acceleration. Just my point of view gear ratio is tooth number of the primary gear / tooth number of secondary gear or n1/n2

Not. These things handle like crap even when pedal powered. I know.
I have one. Also have the Schwinn chopper.
Both are very poor choices for a race bike...
Sure, your mom's minivan CAN be fast with enough motor, but it's never going to scare a real racecar.

I agree... choppers handle lake crap, they look cool and there's nothing wrong with drag racing when there's no turns involved, but in the twisties you'll want proper geometry and precision. Do a google search on "rake and trail" and you'll get an insight on how it effects a bike's handling, then look at the way a crotch rocket's front end is set up compared to a cruiser, you'll notice it's almost vertical and much closer in so the wheel can be maneuvered either direction very quickly, then look at a cruiser or chopper, the front end is raked out so that it'll practically ride it's self down a long stretch, I do that sometimes on a long ride, just set the throttle lock and take my hands off the bars, sit back and enjoy the view... but there's no way I'd even try to go around the twisties on my Harley the same way I can on my Buell. There's no way I could just lock the throttle on my Buell and sit back with no hands on the bars either.
Each bike has it's own purpose and as long as you don't ask one bike to do what the other can do, they're both perfectly safe.

I do like that frame style as it lends it's self lots of room for plenty of engine choices... It would make a good cruiser or drag bike. You could put together another 212 and use that CVT so it'll accelerate really well and take it out when someone wants to drag race, but it would also be a good attention getter just cruising around on.

Im going to swap out my forks for a monark twin spring fork
Hydraulic disc brake on the front
26" 12g spoke rimes
Rear tire will have disc adapter to mount my sproket to the hub
2 26x3.00 tires and pray I have cleanence on the tire.
Might go #35 chain on rear sproket to get the clearence I really need.
And pray one brake will do it.

Sounds like a good setup to me... let's just hope those 3" tires fit... that'll really make the bike look cool if they fit... I'd love to run some fat tires like that on mine but the 26 x 2.0 tires I got on it now is about as big as I can go on the back rim but I could run 3" tires up front so I've been thinking about going with a 24" rim in the back and keeping the 26" up front so I can run a 2.5" tire on the back and a 3" up front.
I'll agree with Mrfubs about the braking system... you definitely want simple but effective...
A good tool to have is a slide hammer then weld a vise grip to it so you can grab parts that are stuck with the vise grip and yank them out with the slide hammer... I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow when I go to the shop so you can better see what I'm talking about, I made it about 15 years ago out of a slide hammer I got off the Mac tool truck, then welded the nut on the end bolt to a pair of vise grips and it's been a real lifesaver for me for getting out stuck hardware or parts. IT's real easy to make and total cost was just over $30 since I got the slide hammer off the Mac tool truck, but you can use a harbor freight or autozone slade hammer and build one for under $20.

This is my hydraulic brake sys except i payed $36 because the vendor made a sales mistake and offered me the avid brakes for the same price as the ones i original payed for which was shimano becasuse she sold them to some one else in person at the store. long story short hydraulic set will work wonders. just keep in mind if your going to do so the stopping power from 160mm rotor to 203mm is very noticable! i almost never use my rear brakes
