Thanks for the recognition, Allen! I'm glad I could help ;)

    Jetting and Temps

Don't beat yourself up about it man! You probably wouldn't believe how often I do something exactly like this. It's all part of the process, even expert mechanics make stupid mistakes sometimes. I am stoked you got it all sorted!

My official testing of several different aftermarket CDIs

In that case, I apologize for jumping to conclusions... The timing seemed rather suspicious, but apparently it was merely coincidence. I will contact my ISP, as I am still unable to connect. Will PM you if I find anything interesting. Thank you for the clarification.

My official testing of several different aftermarket CDIs

Surely. I get a 102 error (ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED) when I attempt to connect to "motorbicycling.com/" from my home IP address. This happened while I was posting yesterday. I made two posts while I could connect. In the middle of my third post I began to get this error while...

My official testing of several different aftermarket CDIs

And for anyone reading this thread (if they leave this post up)... A server administrator at this Forum just banned my local IP address. Luckily I am not retarded, so I can mask my IP all day long. Seems they did not ban my user account... Kinda odd if you ask me. I wonder how...

And the Pièce De Résistance: AND now he wont answer any more of my questions. Sad Panda. I find it humorous that when he was not able to articulate his beliefs, he resorted to directly insulting me, and then shut down the conversation.

My official testing of several different aftermarket CDIs

I have read everything on your site, multiple times. I have also read most of what Gordan Jennings has written, as well as books by Graham Bell. I have researched SAE papers written by the engineers at Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki. I have also found a forum where the Aprilia...

My official testing of several different aftermarket CDIs

So how is it again you know all this information as 'fact', when you are 'supposedly' not Jaguar...? If you wanted to be CONSTRUCTIVE... You could have asked Venice what jumper position he had the Jaguar CDI in when he did the testing. You could have also asked why Venice decided to...

My official testing of several different aftermarket CDIs

BAHHHHHhahahahahHAHAhHAhaHAhHAHAHAHAHha!!!!11!!!!!111!!!!!11 Wow. "But at least he admitted he is a rookie racer. Jaguar himself is not a rookie and definitely knows more on the subject than anyone I've come across and all his competitor CDI makers." You know what I remember...

    Jetting and Temps

Okay! That is a lot of good information to work with. Generally when diagnosing jetting, I like to start from the top (WOT) and move down to idle. It sounds like you got WOT figured out really well. Anything bigger than the .60 and you loose power in the top end, I can verify for you...

    Jetting and Temps

Glad to hear it went well for you! The tuning process seems to never end ;) If nothing else, it keeps you learning, and it can NEVER be a bad thing to know more about your bike. To me, it sounds like jetting needs adjustment. Play around with both directions on the main jet(I...

Reed valve without third transfer port or stuffed cases

I did all that with a dremel tool. The "carbide" burrs are what you want for aluminum. I use the "e-z lock" cut off wheels to rough it out, then various shaped dremel 1/8" carbide burs to clean it up. The Dremel really is an amazing tool ;)

Reed valve without third transfer port or stuffed cases

Here is the best pic I have of it actually done to a piston. The top of the windows are "angled" on this one, on my new pistons I cut it like the drawing, flat on top: Don't mind the notch on the left side of the left window (I messed up while machining it >.<)

Reed valve without third transfer port or stuffed cases

If running a reed valve, I would HIGHLY recommend the window in the piston. Here is a pic of the window I make:

If you have any more question as to how to do this yourself, I would be happy to help! I just don't want to hijack this thread with sales stuff ;)
