just had weird bucking bar shrinkage

Do you think your customer's clutch problem and my clutch issue ( see my OP ) are one in the same? I still haven't resolved my clutch issue, but my zeda80 is only 400-500 miles in. Could the shaft have been set incorrectly at assembly?

I've noticed how the bar becomes shorter and indented on the ball bearing end of it. Also discovered that these motors drive shafts are not all of the same diameter.

Clutch gets harder to disengage as motor warms up.

Thank you for the rather insulting reply but I already know how to properly adjust the clutch. And if I didn't, I know that these forums contain all the info for maintaining it. But whats with the hostile reply? My OP asks a question that has not been posted here before. If so, please point the...

Clutch gets harder to disengage as motor warms up.

When I remove the cover and pull the lever, I check to see if the plate moves out ever so slightly. It does, then I release it and see if the bike rolls, and it doesn't. I do this when the motor is cool. It doesn't explain why the clutch .becomes harder to disengage when the motor warms up, then...

Does anyone else have any thoughts or suggestions to my problem? I'm out of things to look at.

Yes, I always pedal to start. I need to pedal and throttle to pick up speed. It's just easier when the motor is cool than when it is warmed up.

Clutch gets harder to disengage as motor warms up.

Hi crassius, thanks for replying . I installed a new clutch cable a few weeks ago. I've also removed the flower nut and clutch plate to check the pads and the spring. I've also check the bucking bar to see if it was worn.

Clutch gets harder to disengage as motor warms up.

Hi everyone, I have a 66cc motor with a NT carb and expansion chamber exhaust. When I start the bike, when the engine is cold, it starts up right away. Good throttle response and accelleration. As it warms up, it becomes harder to accelerate, idle, and get moving from a stop. At the end of the...

    Engine dies when clutching.

Yes, as soon as I ease up on the throttle, the engine dies. Even while coasting speeds.

    Engine dies when clutching.

I've tightened the flower nut, checked clutch and throttle cable play, and idle screw. Engine still won't idle. Dies out as soon as I stop throttling.

It is a moondog, good eye. And thanks, I will go through the whole cable/clutch adjustment.

    Engine dies when clutching.

Does that mean tightening up the flower nut on the clutch plate?

    Engine dies when clutching.

Aloha fellow members! I need help figuring out why my 2 stroke engine won't idle. When coming to a stop, the motor would immediately stop when I apply the clutch and brake. It restarts with no problem and it happens after a cold start and while engine is warmed up.

What kind of carb is this?

Thanks for all the info guys! I'll stick with the nt carb.
