Carb too big for intake(performance carb)

I have a performance carb and the side that bolts on to the intake is slightly too big for the intake, the plastic sleeve inside is useless because the carb slides off the plastic sleeve after a tight install

Must be a cns style carb, that style carb was popular in 2010-2011 but had problems with staying tight. I made a bushing for one from a brass fitting when I used that carb, I'm now using the basic nt. The picture below is the bushing.
