My 50 Harley has a kickstand you can put weight on, and a foot board. Besides, I'm on the long side of 69.
I don't bounce like I used to or lift a leg as high.:D.

Easy thing I do is not to have leg swing over. This as I can bend my knee, so my foot is near my thigh, then it is shorter and effectively lighter. I say lighter due to weight closer to center of gravity. I can then move pointing knee over my banana seat. Once my knee is over the seat and my foot can extend un-bending my knee, I do that. I tilt the bike toward me initially, then have the bike plumb when I go to put foot down on opposite side. This is the low gear approach to getting onto the seat. Packages on the back or tall sissy bar don't matter then.
