Default newbee 1999 vs 2004

found a person selling a 1999 and a 2004 they are about the same price. the 99 has only 250 miles not sure of the miles on the 2004. should i stay away from 1 of these years or both. I am new but read a post about having to upgrade the cylinder and head and a bunch of other stuff. how many miles can you go befor having to upgrade? i want to buy 1 of these if i can enjoy it for a few thousand miles befor having to upgrade

Hi rad, 2005 is the NE5 introduction, all earlier engines will need upgrading, unless previously done. I have parts for that as do some others.
