just thought id say hi everyone. im new to this & just ordered my 1st 80cc engine kit on ebay & planing to fit it to my dawes bike. ill put some pictures up once it arrives and i get started on it.

Are there any other people on here from UK ride motorised ?

Welcome to the forum. There are some blokes that post occasionally. The UK seems to be a difficult place to get your motor bike legal for the road.

it is. because they are quite rare different people have different views so far ive been told anything over 49cc is illegal unless tested & registared with no. plates. off road is fine and if the engine is not in use its road legal i.e pedeling

im just finishing the build so ive not had any trouble yet lol

Just found out these are illegal on road & in public & can get fines and the bike conviscated

Unless its inspected, taxed & insured lol which is impossible for custom build like this

Guess i better sell it
