Default Throttle question

Has/does any one have any experience with the twist throttles from gasbike.net. The Accellograph handle. Is this still a cheap plastic twist throttle or is it an aluminum twist? My cheapy plastic finally gave out and I'm using an old brake lever atm, but would like to get a twist back. I've been toying w/ the idea of using an old dirt bike twist grip. I am sure this has been brought up, but I want some opinions.

You may even get one that had a horn button built in and can use it for a kill switch.
