Smile Stanton Trike kit

I have been looking at a Stanton kit to install on my Trailmate Desoto trike. Has anyone ever had any experience with this kit? Any comments or tips would be appreciated. I have been using a friction drive electric motor, but on wet or damp pavement the drive wheel tends to not work as efficiently as it does in dry conditions. I used a hub motor, but it bound up on me and the company that I bought it from doesn’t know about or service them, they just want to sell you a whole new wheel, at darn near the price of the whole new kit. That is why I decided to go to a chain drive system. The kit I am looking at is made for the trike I have, so if you have any experience with this unit I would love to have your input.
Thanks
