Question Electra Ghostrider

How hard are these to convert? From the pictures I've seen, it looks like the type of bike that'll need have very wide tires, and a difficult mount due to the "chopper stretch" aspect. Also, will the rear fender need to be removed, or trimmed?

Anyone know the frame material? Not that I'd want to drill it, but how strong is it? Should I put on a 49c or 66c?

I have not built a chopper, but I've heard that you can purchase an engine mounting plate from EBay to help you mount a frame motor without welding and it allows you to offset the engine to the left for chain clearance around the fat tire. Good luck.

I built one for a friend of mine on a Rat Fink. Same frame as the Ghost Rider. If you're still interested, I can give you details of the build. Lots of fun to ride!!
