Default Gas Tank Relocation...

Hey there. I decided to relocate my gas tank and figured I'd share the idea I came up with. Take it for what it is. All I did was use a piece of PVC plumbing pipe and cut it to fit SNUG against the seat post. Then, i cut a ring clamp and bolted it through the PVC, making sure it was strong enough to support the weight of my bouncing gas tank. I used a little piece of 12 awg solid strand wire I had laying around and wrapped the PVC to a reflector bracket just to keep it from wanting to swing back and forth. And TAH DAH! It's not super pretty, but it could be with the right amount of effort. The important thing is that it works; I've put about 50 miles on the setup so far.

Good concept.
Definitely keep us updated on it's longevity once you get some miles on it.
