Need a new Throttle. Any Suggestions?

Hi all, my bike throttle broke today. I really sucks, Any suggestions on getting a new one? I dont want to get the same plastic garbage!

Howdy SE. you can go fancy and there are lots of ways to go. I just did a search here of "throttle replacement" and lots of interesting information came up. So much so, I didn't know which links to give you. The stock 2stroke kit ones really do suck. MB I am on right now came with an almost MC quality one and it makes a big difference. Before you even take off for the first time it just feels better and adds to the experience with lacking the "cheesy" cheap feeling. I am thinking thumb throttle for next build.

Any suggestions for twist throttle? Links? WHere can I look to find them?

You might try the local motorcycle and ATV shops. They frequently have off the shelf gear that works. I've never looked for a throttle there before but it is worth a try.

Note that it is a camed 1/4 turn throttle too. It should work well. They don't all have the same throw but you can find a solution if your determined!
