The 62cc Zenoah Engine spinning the 24-10 prop should get me about 50# thrust.

I hope for 20 or so mph. The Pitts muffler is set up for smoke so it will be a cool show to zoom by and hit the smoke pump.

Yea I built it and it was SKEERY. The engine came from ebay in good shape but the plug needed replacement and on the first start up it back fired and the prop bolt stripped out, replaced the prop hub and plug and it ran fine.
On take off its a real slug, you have to pedal, then at about 10mph things change, the faster you go the faster it gets. I dont know were it tops out because you got to pull it back as its to fast.
The engine turns about 10,000 rpm and people will stare and stare. Its a real hoot to pass the spandexers screeming 10 grand and blowing air and raw fuel all over them.
Seems I need a velocity stack on the carb as the passing air pulls raw fuel burbling out the carb and through the spinning blades.
The mount has cracked a weld so the project needs work before more testing is done and it needs a differant prop, one thats bigger with less pitch to get a lower geer affect, I am using a 22-18 and would like to try a 24-8
