For anyone in Montgomery County, Maryland prior to adding your motor you can register you bicycle at any montgomery county police station. Cost about $10.00 will most likely prevent you from any unwanted legal issues related to a pedal assisted bicycle. The form you complete will have your frame serial #, place & date of purchase your name & address if memory serves me correct it's good for 2-years.
