Default My new chopper seat

This bike kills my rear end with a traditional seat. So, I built my own fat boy seat!

How did you design it? What did you have to weld?

actually, I didn't weld anything. I took an old seat that comes with the occ's and took the seat off the post. Then I cut the part that bolts to the seat in half. That gave me a flat place to mount my new seat. I got a guy at the local welding shop to heat up and bend me a piece of steel.I then cut me a seat and backrest out of 3/4" plywood and covered it myself.Once I was done I had to add some washers here and there to get my angle of my seat right.
