new chain guide?

anybody every use any of these plastic floating chain guides?

Very interesting!

The first design probably would not work on a motorized bike...I can see this working very well for low chain speed applications.

The second design photo is too vague to determine exactly what is going on.

It does give me some ideas about how to make this work for MB's. I may try it! Thanks!

We use them on production line equipment where I work. They do the job but I feel they're not necessary on our bikes. A well attached and aligned chain tensioner with a skateboard wheel or a bearing mounted nylon pully will suffice and give you many, many miles of trouble free service. The pictured guides are designed for extreme long life, I'm talking thousands of hours of use, and really just too much for our purposes. They're also expensive.

with two wheels and a brace on each side of the wheels would probably work.
