Default I wonder

Biker Joe said something that got me to thinking... He said his bike bug would just shut down when you came to a stop. The motor would shut down. Now I know it is drag start so.

I wonder what it would take to build a bike based on a friction drive that was always engaged. Would start automatically when you got to three miles an hour then run along on the throttle till you shut the throttle down to idle and stopped the bike then the motor would just shut down.

Then start up again when you pedaled off. That was kinda what I had in mind for the ill fated weed eater bike. Maybe back to the stripped down weed eater tied permanently to the rear wheel.
