Default Stock Muffler

Has anyone changed the stock muffler out or figured out how to make it quieter? I love my bike but can't stand the fact that it's so loud I have a hard time hearing traffic when it's wound out. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you taken the end cap off to see if it has a baffel inside? I had one that came with nothing inside. It was really load so I had to make a baffel to quiet it down. Normally the stock muffler with baffel is really quiet. Take the 6mm nut off the bottom and see what's inside. Let me know if you need help building a baffel?

You could pack your muffler with "chore girl" copper pot scrubbers. I used them
on my muffler after I drilled it out and made it too loud. What's neat about the "chore girl" pad, is that it will unwrap and you can cut it with scissors to make it
suit your needs. It won't burn out either.
