Well, what do I have to do to become an active member?

Ok then, If you guys can find your way through google books, search for Popular Science, August 1954. The plans start on page 147.

You'll just need a couple more posts to be an "active member".
Then go ahead and post the link.

Thank you, Fairracing31, for posting the link. I lost the info I had written down.

I actually, built this motorized bike, back around 1972, when in high school. I changed the design a little, though. Instead of the bar for the clutch, I rigged it to a handle bar lever. As I mentioned in my introduction, I abandoned the project, due to troubles, getting it street legal in Pa. My mother wasn't too crazy about my "invention" either and offered to lend me the money to buy a "real" motorcycle.

So, I got myself a one year old, '71 Harley, 125cc. "Rapido". What a great bike! And yes, I paid her back, too.
