Default Looking for a rustic finished Board Track race replica I think I saw here

I think I saw it here,....but I lost the link. It was a nicely built replica board track bike that the builder finished in a highly distressed look that was very convincing. The bike was a semi gloss gray with lots of redish areas showing through,...the saddle was even distressed looking and the top of the tank looked like it was 50 Plus years old with a grimy oil and gas stain across the top surface.

Anyone know where I can find the thread on this bike?? I would like to find out how the builder created the finish....Id like to do one this waya myself.

BC

if you want real rust, grind to bare metal and spray with amonia on a humid day.. next morning it'll have surface rust

Was it this tribute board track racer build that you think you saw?

Did someone say something about a distressed or weathered looking seat, Tan colored seat on last pic!

Peace Crazy Horse!!!

Anyone know anything about the above pictured bike? I agree with what's being said, the frame geometry is spot on!

Hi, that would be a bike that I built, I reckon it looked good but was a little to low and cramped in the cockpit for my 6ft body.

I've since built a more stretched out bike that I'm really happy with,

cheers,

Steve.
