MX-3 Superbike info

Anyone have any info on MX-3 and MX-5 Superbike motor kits? I had forgotten that we had one laying around. (MX-3) Well, i knew i had it but thought it was a front tire drive system. Turns out it is not. Found very little info on line. When were these made? Anyone have first hand experiance with one?
