Default Clutch drag

I have an 80cc tow stroke engine and my clutch is stuck in drive. The clutch stays in gear even with the clutch cover and clutch rod off. I need to know how to fix this, can eney one help?

With the clutch cover off it would be "in gear".

You need to push the rod in to disengage the clutch.

Put it all back together and start again with a proper cable adjustment and let us know what happens.
