Default 68 spoked rim spocket mounting

I have 68 spoked rims on my new micargi beach cruisier. Has any one tryed this before. Hole dont line up. The are just on the inside of the hub. I was going to drill new hole and try to make a rubber ring to fit. Any one done one of these rims before.

I just came to this forum so my answer is six days late. I just built a bike with 68 spoke wheels and had to use smaller screws. Get high quality mechine screws, heads are larger than the holes in the sproket,or use washers. This took hours and sore fingers to get installed. Backing plates had to be cut into four seperate pieces and inside rubber was cut into three pieces. Outside rubber had to be tapered from center out to bolt holes. Used hack saw. Once assembled and snugged up it is a tight good fit.

retmachinist has come up with a fabulous 68-spoke sprocket adaptor here: http://motorbicycling.com/f3/68-spok...cket-5209.html

but if you want to try it yourself, you can see how i do it 'on the cheap', here on page 4: http://motorbicycling.com/f3/black-sabbath-3862-4.html
