Just getting started in all this need help

i don't know how to make a new thread so i make one here
i have a 5hp with a tiny shaft but the piston cap is missing
and i have a 6 or 8 hp with a tappered shaft
i want it chain driven
i don't have cash for a clutch
i have lots of time
it needs to go like 40+ mph
oh an i can weld
so i can put sproket on tappered shaft
i don't know where to get chainsaw
i will check craigslist
for chainsaw
but i want somthing loud
and fast (my 6hp enginge)
anyone got ideas
diagrams
saftey warnings from a moator so powerful
i have go-kart so i know how machines work
oh and i want it done over spring break
my next project will be electric
maby a box fan for power
chain dirven
10-15 mile range
just giving a heads up

To make a new thread, after you decided which forum to start a new thread in.

At the top you will see a sprocket that says "new Thread" (right above "Threads in this forum")

Click on that and enter the title of your thread and type away and then hit "submit"
