clankity rattling sound? please read

im having lots of trouble with my engine, and i have another thread, but its not getting looked at
much.

when running my engine (66cc china) it has a violent rattling sound, but its not the piston hitting the head. i have some scratches in my bore from a few metal shavings getting in, but the scratches dont seem to slow the piston down when im pushing it with the spark plug off, only at bottom dead center does it hesitate if im pushing it very slowly.

i have good compression it seems, its been hard to move the engine since i just took the top gasket off, but that didn't change the performance.

Could be the piston pin and or bearing.

i fixed it! i was wrong about the piston hitting the head, the head was out of alignment a little. still not much power, but no rattling

im going to fiddle with the needle setting now.
