Exclamation Georgia Bike laws

I have been reading some threads on bike laws and haven't came across any for the state of Georgia. I thought that I would do some online searching and post some links to good information on here to help people stay out of trouble with the Law and to know their rights. Hope this helps...

Speedy,
Check out the Georgia Moped laws, that's what would apply to us.

Hey, thanx. I was kind of wondering about that. What about the helmet laws? What I can figure if I am pedaling I don't use one b/c I'm over 16.Under engine power I got to use one? Half the laws I've read say use a bike path if available the other says I'm under " motor vehicle" laws like a moyorcycle. We need a clear cut standard for our machines in the law books.
