Default Bill's Goose

My Mongoose recumbent, with Robin EC04 engine. Friction drive. Engine is mounted on the cranks at the lower bracket. The over center lever lifts & lowers the drive roller on to the tire. Bill

That bike is amazing! Do you build that kind of thing or is it a kit of some kind?
Love that front wheel drive.

THanks for taking a look you guys.. I don't see many recumbents on here. For long or short rides thier really comfortable. The moveable bottom bracket, front drive is a kit from cruzbike.. I believe this link will get you there.. Cruzbike: cool, comfortable front wheel drive bicycles.

Thanks for that link, I'll have a look. Do you find it hard to ride at very low speeds? What about starting off from a stop. I can't see how a person would stay balanced while the bike is not moving and they are about to start peddling.
Anyhow, why don't you mount your bats. to the rear of the seat? I'd hate to give up the suspension.
