Default What's your mix?

I've got a chris hill and he says 20 or 25 :1 The guy at the motorcycle shop says real motorcycle oil (I use honda) should be 32 : 1

I'd be interested to get an idea of the prevailing attitude- is there consensus?

25:1 is fine for break in with a good oil. Then 32:1 after two tanks.

Nothing special about Honda oil.

Hey Pablo, You aught to know... is there a difference between motorcycle oil and general purpose, outboard, etc. The oil I get at the motorcycle shop looks WAY thicker than the stuff I use for my boat.

There surely is a difference between TC-W3 oil and TC oil. I was just stating there is nothing special about Honda oil.

The additive package is not as stout in a watercooled 2T engine oil.
