Default Is it normal for the paint to peel off your muffler?

I just fired up my bike for the first time and about 10 minutes later the black paint started to peel off my muffler. Does this happen to everybody? I have a grubee engine.

One of mine came with a flat black, paint never chipped off though. Its not going to hurt it if the paint peels off. You can fix it by sanding it and spray painting it with some high temperature spray paint ofcourse..

That is normal for the grubee kits from what I have been told. I'd do what ladies says and use some good high temp paint or even some BBQ paint.

The black painted mufflers are catalytic converters. I know because I have one. I bought some Rustolium BBQ high-temp paint for it to solve the peel issue.
