newbie pedal crank question

Have 4 stroke kit on walmart moondog bike
cant find one piece wide crank

All you need is a conversion kit to use the 3 piece set up. Maybe easier, but more expensive, than finding a wide 1 piece.

Thanks for the info, a one piece would be nice but can't find it yet.
Does conv. kit have reliablity (plastic)?
Will it be wide enough for hang sen 4 cycle engine clearance?

Just read 16" pedal conv. by houghmade.
Looks like viable option if you can still pedal it.

The width will depend on the spindle and cranks. If your engine kit did not come with a wide spindle then I would keep searching for your 1 piece. My 4 stroke kit came with a wide spindle and all I needed was the conversion kit. There is no plastic in the conversion kit. Aluminum adapters and steel cups and bearings.

If the spindle is wide enough you can use regular crank arms.

You might consider a short crank with pedal extentions. Odds are not good finding a wide 1 piece.
I pedal a lot and this works well.

I am another user of the short crank...but I just pedal from a standing start. I use it to keep my knees out of my face. I used to use the wide crank, but with my low seat (it's all about style), I needed the short crank.
