Default Sprocket size best fit 20'' rim?

Will be installing 80cc on schwinn stingray is the 44t sprocket ok or will I need to down size? Building for my 13 year old top speed of 20mph would be best . Adam.

I built on a standard 20" not wide rim once and used the 44. I think that shoes built the stingray and used the 44.. Mine would do maybe a mile an hour over 20 maybe a mile less but it was right around there.
