Default walbro weed eater engine

i want to mount this at about a 45 degree angle,with the carb up.it has the dual gas lines and pump at the bottom.will this run in this position or will i have to level the carb with a bent manifold,thank you.

Nope, you can run a Walbro at any angle or orientation.

thank you for the reply.i have one other question and the search showed nothing,but its great reading,lots of info.the back of my engine has a plastic crankcase cover that indents into the case,as if to limit the crankcase volume.what happens if i put a flat plate on the back?thanks again

I don't think you'll have any problems.
What kind of engine is it?
Can I ask why you want to change the plate?

the engine is from a weed eater i bought about 12 years ago but never used.the only things i find are zama 14 on the carb,walbro on the ignition coil and walbro on the flywheel fan assembly.i want change the plate to trick out the engine a little,make it from aluminum plate, cut fins.it would change the case volume some so i thought i would ask to see if it would hurt the engine performance.thanks again bikeguy joe, you have a great website here.
