Default starting with engine

i have a trek 820 and a tec1585 . what i need next is a clutch and a means to connect the drive, as well as brake upgrades, does anyone have wisdom to share, I know i need hubs n such but dont know where to go to avoid the kits, im building from scratch.

Staton Inc.and That's Dax (Dax advertises here)both have supplies to help you with building from scratch.
Engine mounts, clutches, hubs, driveline parts etc.
If more is better, then too much is just enough.
If you can't afford it, build it yourself.
