Time to stage the Motorbicycling Nativity Play

I know we've left it late this year, but its now time to stage the MB Nativity Play.
We need to have a cast list - shepherds, sheep, naughty angels. You know the drill.
We also need story development.

As the original story was set in Palestine there's plenty of scope for multiculturalism in the MB Nativity.


The Story So Far:

Mary and Joseph have journeyed from afar, following a star towards the West Riding a weary near clapped out 2 Stroke Happy Time 66cc Bicycle. The Motel is all booked up, and they are weary....

Goober the local Gas station mechanic offers for the pair to stay in his garage as he can see Mary has a middle aged Caucasian man about to fall from her loins

In a parking lot not far away, three newbies were scratching their heads, for they were sore confused at their chinese user guides and could make not much sense of them, said one newbie to the other....

When off in the distance what should appear but a red suited fat man with eight tiny reindeer and a Sick Bike Parts Shift Kit.

And it came to pass, as Santa had gone away from them into oblivion, the newbies said to one another,

Let us go even unto town, and see the benefits of a shifter kit that has come to pass, which the internet has made known to us.

And they rode with haste, and found, when they filled up at Goobers Place, Mary, Joseph and the babe lying in a Toolbox. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the Motored Bikers. But Mary didn't have a sodding clue, and pondered them in her heart. And the newbies returned, glorifying and praising SBP for all the things that they had heard and seen on their newly geared Bikes, as it was told unto them.

Suddenly the great company of Spooky Tooth appeared with the angel, praising motorbicycling.com and saying,
"Glory to God and the cyclist, and on earth peace to men on whose bikes have an engine."

and out of this promotion will come a biker
who will be the menace of our nextdoor neighbours.' "

Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the best way to mount a HT engine on his schwinn jaguar. He sent them to the local Bethlehem Hardware Store and said, "Go and make a careful search for nylox nuts. As soon as you find them, report to me, so that I too may go cruising without fear of losing my nuts."

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, guided by Normans light, and the starfire they had ridden in the east pulled them valiantly until it conked out over the road from a place where a child was. When they saw the condition of the starfire, and realised it was merely out of gas, they were overjoyed.

On coming to a house, they saw a child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and begged a cup of tea and a gallon of premium. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. And having been warned in a dream of the recent clamp down on unregistered motored bikes, they returned to their country by another route.
