Default Hello!!
I just bought a 80cc kit i want to install on my mountain bike. The kit has a twist grip throttle. However my bike has a twist grip gear changer. Has anyone ever encountered this issue and if so what did you do to get around that?

Looking forward to building this new machine

i have twist shifters on my mountain bike also i just mounted everything on the bars together just like it was from the factory, had to slide the brake levers and shifter in a hair but it all works well, just remove ur grips and replace with ur new ones

oh OK...so you had no trouble fitting the new one on and still keep the shifter?

You can use an old thumb shifter as a throttle.
