Default Motor kits: California?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me of an engine kit that is legal in Calif.? How about a dealer ?
What brand/kit seems to be the most popular/reliable?
Thanks so much....I'm really looking forward to building one!
Russ

Ive got an 70cc china and I Just keep the D.M.V. page 3 of the motorcycle handbook. It states that a Motorized bicycle cannot be capable of more than 30 M.P.H. on level ground and that you must wear a helmet. Some one has it linked on here. I will look for it.

Thanks!
Where did you purchase your engine kit? I keep seeing all these dealers that won't sell/ship to ca.
Been happy with yours?
Thanks,

There are two or three people offering the chinese 2-stroke kits in Orange County. They run ads on the Orange County Craigslist page for bicycles. One guy sells them for $149.00 and the other for $300.00
