Venice Switchblade!

Here's a few quick pics of a customers Switchblade that I'm currently building...

I figured the easiest way to build it & keep the fat 3" rear tire, was to offset the engine & sprocket 1/2 inch, like we do on Harleys. (I still have to fab a offset front engine mount.)

I have a lot of respect for all the work Hellbilly put into his Switchblades... But I really wanted to keep this simple!

YES... there are still two mounting studs in the engine!! The right side stud is hidden!

Here's some pics of the front mount... I made it from 1/4" steel.
The bike runs good, & the engine mounting is very solid!
(I'm kinda proud of myself with this bike...)
I really hate the way the paint turned brown on this engine. (It's the customers engine... not one of mine!)

Sorry... I don't remember the exact measurements. I would have to have the bike in my shop to make some more.

That carb looks WAY TOO out of level!!
I'm wondering how thats gonna affect it's performance??

its still in the break in stage so i dont know, has'nt seemed to effect it so far, i guess time will tell.
