Well i did not build a mount for the motor i just used one of the holes on the motor and drilled it out and bolted it to part of the front break leaver, but when the spring is not holding it down yes it does lift off.

good if it wont lift and you run out of gas it will freeze up on you. I did that to a small weed eater when i first started with them. Keep an eye on it.

As of now in the ongoing build to make it better, i have to continuously remove to spring until i find a way to lift the motor with it still on, everytime i stop the motor dies and i have to peddle start it again.
