Default petrol tank problem

on the crossbar of my mountain bike where the petrol tank is meant to go how do I install the tank if i got cables running to the back of the bike for the gear changing and for the back brakes
Plz help A.S.A.P since my engine kit will be arriving soon from ebay

Well one way is to use epoxy as in this photo



I'm not a big fan of the epoxy but just about anything will work that will keep the tank just above the cables. This should at least give you a good ideal.

or just cut some cable housing to size for all three I bet it could work, could mesh the tank right aganst it all. Might just want to rerought all the cables

go to walmart they sell a cable kit for around $5.00. you can reroute all the cables so they won't interfere.
