Default center lock hubs?

has anyone tried using a centerlock disc hub to run a disc brake. from what i see i should be able to ragmount my 34t sproctet to the wheel and then mount the disc. but i cant be the first one to think of this, and i cant find any posts on it.
any thoughts?

I've used Shimano Alfine 8-speed rear hubs with the center lock disc brake with great results... But those bikes had SBP shifter kits, so there wasn't a sprocket on the disc side.

thanks for the info. my biggest concern was that the lock ring would vibrate off. im pretty sure everything else will work out.
i am currently rebuilding my bike, and really need 2 discs but cant afford to buy a tophat adapter to have it not work. by my calculation this will give me more room. ill just have to use a rag mount.

I've seen centerlock-to-6-bolt adapters on Problem Solvers. Amazon carries them, too.
