Default new engine no spark at low rpm

Need help have new engine won't run . turn engine over with drill on sprocket and with spark plug laying on motor have no spark until spinning at hi rpm ????

What are you thinking is "high rpm" ? IF the normal idle is at about 1000 rpm - then that is 16 rotations a second, and only 4 per second on the output after the gear reduction.

Try putting it on the bike and pedal starting it. I'm sure it will start up. It is going on a bike right?

Welcome VROD & hOtrOd to the forum Check your cdi ground and lead wire. Or U got a bad spark plug
