1959 Schwinn "Rat Rod"

Here's my new personal bike... It's a 1959 Schwinn rat rod.
Everything you see (frame, fork & rims) are powder coated (not painted) It even has real pinstriping!

Eat your hearts out...

That 's a great look and I bet those handlebars bring in those far away stations .

I just taped up the spokes, and primed one rim. I was going to go with grey but that red does look pretty good!! Those bars are INSANE. Hey can I use a photo of that on My website for Your listing ?

how are you going to put disk brakes ??? is the front rim a free wheel??

Too Cool! I think the only thing she's maybe missing is a custom tank. Hope to get to LA for a group ride in the future.
