Hi
I recently discovered the motorbikes when looking for gas saving alternatives
I drove a turbo car daily and you can imagine the mpg figures when you floor it...
I found the 48 cc engine kit and to make the story short, I ended buying the engine w/o a suitable bike...
I bought a used mountain bike for less than 30 dollars and got the engine installed, when trying it ride was harsh and riding position uncomfortable
So I bought double wall rims and cruiser type tires, front telescopic fork, front disk brake and aluminum hubs
And a helmet
Now I am using it to go to work
Traffic is not a stress factor anymore
Fuel economy is great
I highly recommend it

welcome to the site jose! motorized bicycle are great for saving money and fun to ride. what more could we ask for. glad to have you with us and hope you post us some pictures. its really nice to have people joining us from all over the world
