Default whats it likely 2 do

I have this 42cc chainsaw motor and it runs but it seems to have low compression, About half as much as my 33cc I think but I don't know for sure. What is it likely to do shut down or just pull like garbage. Or something I'm not expecting.

Also does anybody know if poulan ever made chainsaws for sears under the craftsman brand. This one looks suspeciously like my poulan. I wonder if I can get rings for a generic 42cc poulan and have them work.

I believe they did but not positive on that

When I look up parts for my old craftsman weed whacker I get OEM parts by Poulan.

That's pretty much what I thought the case and the hardware look suspiciously the same. If the engine is anemic I might just pick up a generic poulan ring and go from there,
