Default New NGK plug

Has a silver connector on it whereas my old plug that I am replacing only has a screw/thread at the end.

Should I modify the plug or the plug wire?

Thank you

Do you have a pic? If it's like a cap, you can unscrew it.

The tip of the plug was a cap and it unscrewed just fine. Thank you.

Diff question - my bike runs like garbage under duress - going up small inclines and starting off.

Going down an incline (a small) its a rock star, otherwise its a goat.

I am confident with the mixture at 24:1, synthetic oil, new NGK plug, etc.

Something is just not right

The motor does not have, that I know of. I bought it on Ebay from a seller who calls himself

Boy Go Fast.

Decent stuff at first but the thing is losing it mojo real easily

Plus, I have not a clue how to adjust the mixture with the exception of fiddling with the ring around the pin

That is how you adjust the mixture. Moving the clip down towards the pointed end, raises the needle, and richens the fuel/ air mixture, moving the clip up towards the blunt end, lowers the needle, and leans the fuel/ air mixture. What position is the clip in now? Are you sure you dont have any intake leaks?

If it's the black boygofast muffler... take it off and blow through it.
Mine was so restricted that the engine could barely gain speed on level ground. I had different chrome one that I snatched from another kit to test with, that made it easier.

I would reccomend letting it cool before putting it to your lips
