Default Woohoo! First ride and curious about the break in period

I just had my first ride, I went very slow and just road around the block basking in my success. I was curious about the break in period? I used the search and it didn't show anything useful.
Sorry for rapid posts.

I am rather new at this but heavy oil mix is wise at first.

I think a 16 to 1 ratio for the first gallon is a good place to start.

Some here are comfortable with a 24 to 1 mix for breaking in. I have not had serious problems with a 16 to 1 with two motors but this RAW got "Boggie" meaning that until the motor was warmed up it was not as responsive as I thought it should be. That was after it had burned over 3/4 of a gallon of 16 to one mix.

I switched to a lighter oil mix. I think I did 24 to 1 but I may well have mixed 32 to 1.. I will be mixing 32 to 1 next anyway.

I am new to this so I am listening to every squeak (disc brake), grind (the bearings) and thunk ( loose chain )

Enjoy your ride.. It's a good feeling.
