brnotbrnotHi All.
I own a 1976 Honda PC50 pedal moped with a K1 4 stroke engine.
Top speed is 30 MPH how can i increase the top speed of the bike ?
Any kits ,carbs,jets ,etc ?
Will a Honda cub 70 0r 90 carb fit the k1 pedal engine auto twist & go ?
Has anyone upgraded one before ?
Also how much more top speed can be gained ?
Many thanks Roger

Howdy Rodger, you could use a aftermarket hi-compression piston like a wiseco , a larger carb ,and a nice expansion chamber pipe to boost the ponies , all of that is just bolt on and doesn't require much fuss or mechanical ability ...i have seen several mopeds built up to race this way , and a few fellows from a motorcycle magazine even built 50 cc mopeds and raced them from new york to LA 3000 + miles and they made it , so it seems like a pretty reliable build to do to a moped ...i think their mopeds topped out at about 45 MPH built this way xct2

I agree with everything moonshiner said except the expansion chamber exhaust pipe.
They don't do diddly for 4-stroke performance gains.
my bad for some reason i was thinking the little Honda was a 2 stroke , they make a 4 stroke performance pipe as well ...
