Default Disc break hub with "Paired spoke Laceing"

Anyone familiar with Paired spoke Laceing?? Any opinions?

I'm looking at a Rear Disc Hub but it had this "Paired spoke" Laceing...

Could this style of laceing withstand the torque of a 50cc pulling on the hub?

Just curious what all of you more experienced Wrenchers think.

HI,

Here is a link that may help you....Paired spoke vs radial/normal lacing - RoadBikeReview Forums

Personally, with the sustained high speeds you can achieve using a motorized bike and the fact that most roads are far from perfect, I personally would lean towards a more traditional and heavy duty wheel....I don't recall seeing too many paired spoke laced moto cross bikes out there! ;-)

Good Luck on your build....Ride safely!

Andrew

I'd go with the traditional way. This last weekend I snapped a spoke on the rear rim.
