Heavy duty fenders.

Ok, My Schwinn Point beach has already started showing stress cracks on the front fender. WHERE can I order the heavy duty old stuff?

Maybe I could just lay up 3 or 4 strips of fiberglass in resin from the underside, say 3" x 6" I'm sure that would solve the problem, and be much cheaper. Hit it with 30 grit sandpaper to make sure it sticks... I'd put the heavier metal 'tab' in the set up too... what do you think?

I used some plumbers strap to the inside of my fender to stiffen them up. I spot welded them in a few places and WOW what a difference.

You can reinforce your fenders in several ways, fiberglass being just one.
